Using Neal & Wolf Silk

A client came in his morning complaining she could never manage to get her hair smooth.
We recommended the Neal & Wolf Silk

Just applying a small amount and distributing it through the hair before blow drying.

The results speak for themselves!

The client was very pleased.

Your choice!

What would YOU like to practise was the theme this week.
Cutting, foiling blow drying and plaiting were chosen by the first group who decided that these were the areas they wanted to gain more confidence in.

Excellent technique from Leah.

P.P.E all present and correct!

Such concentration Mamoona.

Rosie's cutting.

You all worked really hard. Well done!

Making posters.

Blow drying, pincurling, setting, curls, hair ups and finger dried hair were the theme for todays theory lesson.
So was scissors, glue, paper and lots of hair magasines.
Lisa teamed us up and we made posters of the different ways to style hair so that we understand the differences when we come to make our style books!

We worked really well, helping each other if we found a style another team needed.

Look at our posters!

Can't wait to start our style books now.

Our first client experience with H1L

Our turn for our first clients today and we were more nervous than the other group as Lisa had told us how well they had done.

After some consultations we started to shampoo.

Then we all set too blowdrying and styling. Plaiting, twisting, making bows, curling and straightening.

One client had such long hair we all calcuated how long her hair is in the Anagen growing stage for.

And now for the results!

Look at this before and after!

And all our feedback

Yeah all together students and clients!

Everybody happy! Lovely to see.

Shampooing and blowdrying session 2

Feeling more confident with each class, Lisa says our shampooing skills are developing fast! But we are all getting a bit camera shy...apart from the boys

Being able to try different hair types has shown us that some hair is more difficult to blowdry than others.

Charlotte working on very long hair using the hand dryer in the right direction, concentrating hard.

Leah working with shorter hair.

Zahir making curls.

Look at that for a curl! Well done! Zahir!

Emily even managed to complete her blowdry and make curls using a wand. Lovely.

Shampooing and Blowdrying session number one

Our first 'proper' practical today.
We had a demonstration of shampooing then got the chance to practise ourselves.

We learnt what the massages are called and put them into practise.

After a chat about sectioning and blowdrying skills, we started.

Great root to tip airflow Loni!

Star of the day has to go to Mamoona for a fantastically smoooooooth blowdry.
Look at the shine on that!
She looks happy too.
Well done Mamoona.
